This is a water-based pearlescent varnish for flexographic printing presses. It produces unique pearlescent printing effects—such as those seen in packaging—that cannot be achieved with offset printing. It enables original and impactful printing expressions through a variety of designs. Furthermore, by applying it as a base coat or top coat on standard paper, you can achieve the same texture as packaging made with glossy paper at a low cost. Please use the Anchor Pearl type for base coat applications. In addition, since the luster of pearl ink cannot be reproduced by copiers or scanners, it can also be utilized for security printing to prevent fraud on gift certificates and coupons.
